character designing
we were given some words to use as a starting point for a character design. i had chose demonic diamond and prickly pigeon
for the first one i made a diamond with a rib cage raped around it. it also had a skull and pelvic bone with gas coming out of the diamond.
for my second idea i drew a bird with horns that wrapped around its beak. these horns were made out of a vine of thorns.
unfortunately i have lost my memory stick with the images of the designs so i have no pictures that i can show

we were given a project to create an idea for a game for the age range of 11-19. so first the members of our team brainstormed and got many ideas about what we could do some of our influences were final fantasy . we decided that we wanted a fantasy based game but we didn't want it to be the stereotypical fantasy game of were you have to save the world. so we reversed roles and you play as the bad guys and you have to destroy the world in which you live in.
we decided that you would be a demon and you live in a world or angels and good.
your goal is to destroy the empire of good.
we added in powers that your character would be given. theses powers are based on the elements, for example fire, ice, wind e.c.t.
but to make the game more interesting we gave the user the ability to control the minds of 5 towns people. and so this wouldn't make the game to easy for the player then we gave them a gauge for their magic so they couldn't keep controlling minds after the previous team members have died. this game does not have a online mode. it follows a storyline and as u progress through the game you will learn new things about yourself and the war that you are fighting against.
character development
the original design for the character you play as was based to look like a generic demon. big red horns and pitch black hair. but after some thought I had changed his design to make it less generic. he still has white skin but I tried to make it more original so I gave him horns that change colour depending on the element that is being used. he also has an arm that has lost its layer of skin. and gives him the ability to use powers.
interface
in the top left corner of the screen there are gauges to tell you how much magic you can use. the flame gets smaller as you loose health. the horns change colour when you use an element.
and the black gas behind the horns show you your demon power. when this runs out then you can no longer take over peoples minds or use element powers

research summary
today there was a presentation when we presented our research on advertising to the class. we had found out that what made adverts stand out was because of a couple reasons. some of the reasons is because of the humour aspects that have been put into the advertisements, another reason is because of the music that goes with the advert that made it catchy.or also the use of well known music made the advert stand out

gurilla advertising
gurilla advertising can come in all sizes . it can be big and bold or it could even be tiny. gurilla advertising make advertising more interactive and creative . this is a good way of advertising because you could spend only a little bit of money on your advertisement and still get the same effect as a tv advertisement. but this way of advertising isnt all that grate as if it doesnt stand out then people could not notice it or think that it is just a prank and not know what is being advertised.
i like this way of advertising because it can be as ctreative and outragous as the seller wants to rty and catch peoples attention
this is a good example of gurilla advertising as at first look it looks like a real woman that has fallen down theses stepps but in actual fact this is a painting of a woman. but because it looks so realistic then everyone would go and look and then find out that it is an advertisement for selling some kind of life insurance.
im not quite shure as to what is being advertised here but it looks like it has something to do with home furnishing. even though you cant realy tell what this is advertising, it is still a good advertisement bacause it is big and strange. as having a house side ways on a wall isnt what you normaly see
